I’m an actuary, and I work mainly on sustainability and climate change.
I’m Chair of the Ecology Building Society and of the London Climate Change Partnership. I’m also the Immediate Past President of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
I’m currently co-chair of the Actuaries Carbon Collaboration — a group of actuaries and others who are working towards a coherent understanding of the issues around carbon emissions and offsets by considering them in an actuarial context.
